ShackLAN Switch Controllers
Every station configuration is different so we offer a range of antenna switch controller options. These range from the basic PB-28 dual-radio controller to the IC-8 Integrated Controller and SM-8 ShackMaster. Both of which have built-in band decoders for automatic antenna switching
PSC-8 Basic Controller - $149
The PSC8 is a single radio antenna switch controller that offers the
simplicity of pushbutton operation. Each PSC8 may be independently
configured as radio 1 to 4. This controller also offers the ability to
select multiple antennas simultaneously as well as automatic antenna
selection by one of our band decoders. In Auto mode the PSC8 will
indicate the current antenna selection for that radio. This controller
works well with remotely controlled stations.
PB-28 Basic Dual Controller - $169
The PB-28 is a dual radio antenna switch controller that offers the
simplicity of pushbutton operation. Each half of the PB-28 may be
independently configured as radio 1 to 4. For larger stations, this
controller may be configured to control one of up to four switches. In
Auto mode the PB-28 will indicate the antenna selected by one of the
Bandmaster series band decoders. The PB-28 has a USB connection that
allows for full control from software and also gives full access to all
devices on the ShackLAN network. Also available is the PB-28S slave
controller for use in remote applications. The slave controller directly
controls the master PB-28 at the station location and functions

DX-8 Deluxe Controller - $199
Our Deluxe Antenna Switch Controller has all the features of the basic
PSC8 controller with some additional features. One of the features is
enhanced antenna indication. This unit uses multi-color LEDs that not
only indicate the antennas in use by itself in green but all antennas in
use by other radios are indicated in red. Another advanced feature is
the amplifier protection function which blocks the radio PTT output from
keying the amplifier when no antenna is selected. This controller is
ideal for remote operation when a separate Bandmaster series band

IC-8 Integrated Controller - $249
Our
Integrated Controller is a top-of-line, cost-effective antenna switch
controller. It has all the features of our Deluxe Controller with the
addition of a built-in full-feature band decoder. The internal decoder
is compatible with Icom, Kenwood, Yaesu and other radios. It can be
configured to use band data from Yaesu and Elecraft K3 radios as well as
obtaining band and frequency information from the data stream such as
Yaesu CAT and Icom CI/V. The decoder is confgured with our easy-to-use
Decoder Configuration software. It also gives you the ability to define
your own custom frequency limits for each band. Also included is a radio
to USB interface, eliminating the need for an external RS-232 to USB
adaptor or Icom CI/V to USB interface. This controller is recommended
for remotely operated stations.
SM-8 Shack Master Controller - $279
The SM-8 Shack Master is a full featured unit that contains a universal
band decoder and antenna switch controller. It features five
communication channels. All channels are active simultaneously and
provide data translation for your station accessories. In other words,
if you are using an Icom radio on the CI/V interface the Shack Master
will output RS-232 data in Yaesu or Kenwood format. In reverse, when
using a radio on the RS-232 interface the Shack Master will out an Icom
CI/V data stream.
The USB interface may be connected to your PC for radio control.
The USB interface may be connected directly to a Flex SDR with no
additional cables or interfaces required.
